Beyond Work

A few personal passions — from storytelling to food — and how they inform my design work.

The things that feed my curiosity and shape how I design.

Design doesn’t start in a wireframe — it starts in how you pay attention to the world.
These are a few of the things I return to often. They inspire how I think, how I build, and how I connect with others.

Narrative Media

I’ve always been drawn to stories — books, games, films, anything that plays with world, emotion, rhythm, or point of view.
That love of narrative shows up in my design work: in how I think about structure, tone, and emotional pacing.
I believe a good interface tells a story, or at least puts you inside one — and that small shifts in mood and language can change how someone experiences a product.

Uphor

Uphor is an ongoing side project — part worldbuilding, part collaborative publishing. It’s a fictional city I’ve been building over time, together with other artists and writers.
I designed the platform, wrote many of the texts, and created a format that mixes nonlinear storytelling with quiet, atmospheric UX.
It’s also a community experiment — about inviting people in, letting them shape the world, and creating a space where creative collaboration feels natural and inspiring.

Photography & Videography

I use photography and video as ways to slow down and look closer — at light, space, expression, detail.
It’s how I train my eye and explore visual rhythm, outside the screen.
I’ve also started creating videos for personal projects, mixing mood, narrative, and structure — and I’m excited to keep developing this side of my work.
It’s storytelling again, just through a different lens.

Cooking

Cooking is where I unwind. I like hands-on things — making pasta, pickling vegetables, baking something slightly chaotic but good.
It’s process-driven, improvisational, and one of the best ways I know to connect with people.
It reminds me that design should feel generous. Not just efficient — but welcoming, intentional, and a little joyful when you get it right.
